Larry O'Gorman is a scientist with a passion for conveying some of the curiosity and satisfaction he has had in the fields of audio and digital signal processing to pre-university students through STEM programs. He has worked on projects spanning EEG processing, infant language access, speech processing, gait detection for the elderly, audio and video analytics, and efficient AI. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers, holds over 40 patents, and has written 3 books. He has also worked with artists to create interactive artworks. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, is a Nokia Bell Labs Fellow, and a Fellow of the IEEE.
