Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey -MySoundscape measurements were captured by Girl Scout campers at Camp DeWitt in New Jersey. This was part of a program on environmental sustainability. Besides measurements, the campers participated in an interactive classroom experience whose content was from the level-2 MySoundscape lecture.
Green Spaces Initiative -Our mission is to enhance the environment and uplift our communities by organizing clean-up efforts, reducing waste, building and renovating sustainable spaces, doing landscaping, collecting data, and much more. We aim to inspire collective action and foster a sense of responsibility towards our planet, ensuring a better future for generations to come. We are located in Central New Jersey.
Klein High School -MySoundscape measurements were captured by engineering design class high school students. Each student chose a park or outdoor area in and around Klein, Texas. As preparation for the field measurements, a class was taught from the highest of three lecture levels (level 3) available from the MySoundscape program.
YMCA Quest Camp -Included in the description of the Madison NJ Area Quest Camps is, "Imagine a camp that blends the classics of camp fun and epic games with the wonders of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The outdoor classroom experience included interactive learning from levels 1 and 2 of the MySoundscape lectures for the campers from preschool to Grade 9. Over the summer, the campers measured several locations on the Drew University campus and Drew Forest.
